I Want To Delete My Grafana Account - But I Can't!

Hello, there.
I want to permanently delete my Grafana Cloud account. However when I try to contact support I get a Zoom meeting scheduled with some random person for whatever reason (I didn’t click anything to schedule it, it just redirects me to a schedule page) and when the meeting date comes closer, the meeting gets cancelled automatically. I must also say that I am a citizen of the EU and therefore I have the right to have my data deleted. I have contacted the Privacy Team but not response from them so far. Isn’t this illegal? Anyways, please help me. I’m desperate.

You are doing something wrong. Pls provide reproducible example of “I try to contact support”.

OT: it’s nice that you want to exercise your GDPR rights, but those “legal” requests must have some specific requirements/form + service provider still may have legal rights to reject it. So I wouldn’t say that something is “ilegal” without full picture.

Well, I think “contact support” is pretty clear. It’s through the Grafana Cloud support form. You have a delete account option, but it redirects you to the schedule meeting immediately (even though I have 0 active/paid Grafana services!), as I’ve said.

Sorry, probably shouldn’t have straight up said that it’s illegal, but still pretty odd this happens.

No, that’s not clear and not reproducible step. Let me write your reproducible steps: I went to Contact us | Grafana Labs and fill the form.

But why? You asked to delete your “Grafana Cloud” account, so why you don’t go to your Grafana Cloud account and don’t create a ticket there - this pretty clear for me:

This is a place, where you open support ticket as authenticated user instead of random anonymous request from the internet. You have full visibility of the ticket there. IMHO this is a “pretty clear” way how to contact support.

Your screenshot shows that you’re on an Grafana Organization page. There is no page like that on my end. Your URL shows /orgs/…, mine shows /users/krystastic1/settings/… I don’t have an organization set up. Only an account.
If it was that easy as finding an alternative to the “anonymous” support form, I probably wouldn’t make a topic on here.
Also, I don’t understand - the “anonymous” contact form clearly shows a “delete account” option. I’m not even “anonymous”. I have an account. No reasons why that shouldn’t work.

Update: found a Grafana resource mentioning your screenshot equivalent as the “Grafana Cloud Portal”. You’re supposed to access it by cliking “My Account” on the top right. I do click it, however I am shown the user account settings, not some portal linked to some organization which I don’t have active even.

Screenshots, pls. Please note that this is a community forum, and the community doesn’t have access to your account. So you need to be explicit and reproducible. Don’t assume that something is pretty clear. I’m a standard user of Grafana Cloud, and I have no idea what you see.
