How to clone a builtin plugin?

Hello Everybody,

I would like to clone a builtin panel plugin, e.g.: time series and make my own changes. However, at the folder below that I want to copy:

https://github.com/grafana/grafana/tree/v8.4.5/public/app/plugins/panel/timeseries

there is not package.json or a builtin environment where I can just start to develop on top of it.

I would be very glad if someone can give me a good solution about it.

Built-in plugins use internal APIs and are not intended to run as standalone plugins. AFAIK, you’d need to fork Grafana to extend the time series panel.
