How can I use HTTP API to create a graph on a existing dashboard

Hello, All
Right now, I try to use Http API to maintain my grafana server, after read the document from http://docs.grafana.org/http_api/dashboard/ . I have use API to create my dashboard , but I found there is no example/API to tell me how to add graph to a existing dashboard. so I just have a empty dashboard. anyone can tell me how to do it ? thank
