Dear all,

I’m really new to Grafana.
Currently we’re using Paessler PRTG for monitoring our whole IT Infrastructure.

We’ve set up a IT project to gather a holistic overview via a dashboard which should be shown on a big screen in our IT department.
Therefore a mockup has been created:

Long story short:
Is it possible with Grafana to gather the needed information and display them aggregated?

I’d like to know especially: is it possible to aggregate the needed informations to get an overview dashboard like stated in the mockup or is grafana a dashboard tool for “details over details”?

if the datasource is not working, looks kinda old and not updated for a while :frowning:

there is also a rest api you can query to pull info into grafana

you can aggregate data in grafana, whether or not you can build a board like your mockup, I am not sure as I have not worked with PRTG or the data therein…

well, PRTG is not the only data source. We’re using Azure as well as there can be any other source (e.g. sharepoint lists or something like node-exporter).
therefore I’m openminded…

yes it should be possible. now about your data sources

pleaae list them out here. from your original post you had another ds up your sleeve :smile: sharepoint list. anything else.
why is your data strewn across different data sources? the more centralized if at all possible the less harder to integrate with any other thing including in this case grafana
