Hide panel by variable?
Please clarify if below instruction given by Grafana Grout actually works. In fact, “For” field doesn’t exist at all.
Open the dashboard that contains the panel you want to hide based on a variable.
Click on the panel’s title bar to select it.
In the top-right corner of the panel, click on the panel options icon (represented by three horizontal lines).
From the dropdown menu, select “Edit”.
In the panel editor, scroll down to the “Overrides” section.
Click on the “Add override” button.
In the “For” field, select the variable that you want to use to control the visibility of the panel.
In the “With value” field, enter the value of the variable that should trigger the panel to be hidden.
In the “Properties” section, toggle the switch for “Visible” to “Off”.
Click on the “Save” button to apply the changes.
