In the ux/ui world there are certain principles as regards to legends designers use one of them is
Clarity:
Legends should be clear and concise, using simple language that is easy to understand.
Your legends break that principle they are not concise
Is there a way you could extract the pertinent data piece from the datasource so that those legends are concise? What purpose does the guids play for the naked eyes
Thank you for the feedback! Unfortunately, in my case, I need to display the full text in the legend because the full path is essential for understanding the data being visualized. The truncated version doesn’t provide enough clarity for my specific use case.
Additionally, in previous versions of Grafana, the legends displayed the full path without truncation. I was wondering if there is an option or setting in the current version (11.2.1) to restore this behavior? Perhaps a configuration I might have missed?
