Since MinIO is no longer open source, what is plan for the object storage with Loki?
Can I assume that in future version of loki helm chart, MinIO will be removed?
What will be its replacement?
The Loki Helm Charts maintainers have been looking at what to do about MinIO since before the year-end holidays.
In the short term, as a workaround, we’ll probably update the charts to pin the MinIO version at a stable version before the latest/last release (which has a CVE). In the longer term, we’re not sure, as we’re looking for a replacement that works across all of the DBs (Mimir, Loki, Tempo).
