I’m currently evaluating Grafana IRM as the alerting solution for our company and we have different SLA levels for our customers and multiple on-call teams distributed around the world.
There are currently two things that are unclear to me:
- I can configure multiple layers in a schedule, but I was unable to find documentation on how these layers are going to affect how users are going to be notified, since I don’t see any options to e.g. repeat notifications by layer in escalation chains.
- How can I trigger notifications only during a certain timeframe. Out Standard SLA is an 8/5 coverage from 8:00-17:30 during working days, but in the escalation chain I can currently only filter by UTC time being in a certain range. Are there any other options I’m missing?
