Grafana and AWS timestream

I am using telegraf to push data from an EC2 instance to AWS timestream. Data is arriving as expected to the defined tables. Then I installed Grafana on Mac. I created a Data Source providing the required info. The connection succeeded and it returned the database name to $_database field. However it is not showing the tables and let alone the other macros.

Any ideas?

I am having this same issue. I am able to connect (using credentials) to TimeStream and list my DBs; however, I cannot access the tables, they just do not show up. Have you made any progress with this?
