Grafana 11 adhoc filter operators list

  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using? 11.3.0

  • What are you trying to achieve? use custom value as operator inside adhoc filters

  • How are you trying to achieve it? by writing custom operator (IN,LIKE, etc) in the adhocs filter form

  • What happened? typed text not accepted as operator and only default ones are accepted

  • What did you expect to happen? entered text used as operator for the adhoc filter

Hi,
With grafana 10 we can type any text as operator in adhoc filters and that was convenient for users

but after upgrading it to 11 version (i tried docker images with tag 11.3.0, 11.4.0, main) only predefines operators can be used (=,!=,=~,!~,>,<)

Why was it changed and may be you know
how to return back this behaviour ?
