Failed to start Grafana instance in Ubuntu 18.04

Installed grafana in Ubuntu 18.4 and followed the steps given in the below link

But not able to start the grafana.server.service. Getting the below error when checking the status

Also no log file update in the path var/log/grafana/. Where to find the root cause of the failure?

Please help to resolve this issue.

If you don’t need to backup any dashboards, or configuration, I would advise to remove that package you downloaded and, instead, try the offical install steps listed here
