Failed to add users after messed up first installation

Hi

i am stuck trying to reset my admin password.
if i go to community.grafana.com an almost empty page awaits me (see screenshot).

i was able to create a new account but i guess this one is not admin.
i want to use an influx db but i cant even manage data sources atm.

how can i reset my admin password on a mac? i even tried reinstalling with brew and deleting the grafana folder in /ur/local/etc but it did not work.

help is very much appreciated!

it took me the whole evening but i got it.
the main issue was using safari on my mac.
it works great with chrome after deleting every single folder and the old standard db. after reinstalling with brew the setup went smooth.
