We’re an ecommerce site that is being hit extensively by a bot that is using Grafana + Faro; They’ve been attacking our site for the last several months. From what it looks like, and from the input from several cyber security individuals, it appears that they are either 1). trying to harvest our website metrics / data or 2.) Trying to intercept user sessions. They are using a VPN setup to continually change their IP address.
That being said, it looks like they had an issue in their code at some point, as we were able to capture a Grafana error, which did cite the Faro plugin. So, we have that information to work with. Is there anything we can do to stop this bot since we have that information?
