Are boltdb_shipper and tsdb_shipper metrics interchangeable?

I’m using TSDB, but when I see the /metrics I have a bunch of metrics like loki_boltdb_shipper_compactor_running: 1

I would like to know if this is expected.

I tried reviewing the code, and apparently, the compactor has used boltdb nonetheless what storage is configured:
