Alerting on a deleted panel

I have a couple of alerts firing on a panel that I deleted, I cannot see a way to remove any alerts without the panel being present first?

when I click on the dashboard link in the alert I get:

is there a way to remove the alerts from the database using the cli?

This can be ignored as a non issue, we moved our grafana service, but forgot to disable the grafana service on the old box, it was on a list to be decommissioned but in the time it took a new OS patch was released so restarted the server causing the grafana service to restart!
