Alert Has no value vs No Data

  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
    Mac OS

  • What are you trying to achieve?
    Set off an alert when the average requests to an endpoint in the last 5 mins is below 1 or not reporting data.

  • How are you trying to achieve it?

My question is, what takes precedence? The condition or the No Data configuration?

Can you please specify your grafana version and if you are using the legacy alerting system or the Unified Alerting system (alertng) that shipped with Grafana 8?
