Adding image to the dashboard

• What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
  Grafana v11 Enterprise
• What are you trying to achieve?
  Adding an image from local disk directory which is the most recently added image in that directory (needs to update in realtime), plus I will be working with a PC with no internet access.
• How are you trying to achieve it?
  Watch directory using telegraf, convert the image that has been newly added to base64, send it to InfluxDB, query the data with Grafana and display on dashboard
• What happened?
  I do not even know if it is possible…if anyone has done it before it would be really helpful.

Best practice to show time series of images

I have a series of images recorded from a webcam. I want to display those images depending on the time range selector of Grafana together with other recorded data like temperatures etc. Images are stored on a local drive which can be made accessible through a webserver. I found this discussion here, but it does not really solve my problem: What is the best way to archive this? I could store the appropriate image file location in postgres and maybe even store the whole images as binary data…
