What I’m looking to do is monitor the hard drive temps on my Freenas box over a long period of time as well as the outside temp to give me a better idea as to when I need to start venting the cupboard they live in and a friend suggested Grafana.
So I’ve install Grafana and looking at the Home Dashboard page and thinking I’ve bitten off more then I can chew here.
I’m sure what I’m trying to do is possible but where the hell do I start?
Which data source do I choose? Does it matter? Are some easier to configure then others?
I’m sure once I get started it will start looking a little easier so any help here in pointing me in the right direction would be very much appreciated.
