The datasource does not support alerting queries for cms_grafana datasource

Hello,

I wanted to use checkmk grafana datasoruce (https://checkmk.com/cms_grafana.html) , but i see that The datasource does not support alerting queries. Do you have any information regarding it?

Hi vasishnoavi,

Grafana has two types of datasource plugins, backend and frontend pluings,
right now the backend pluging are code in Golang and are include in the core of grafana, almost all plugins are made as frontend and grafana does not support alert for frontend pluging.
