Running k6 cloud for the browser test on the vpn dev site

Hi all, I’m struggling with running the browser test via k6 cloud on the dev site that was behind the vpn. The dev site is hosted on AWS with VPN setup.

I’m not sure are theses IP addresses from https://grafana.com/api/hosted-grafana/source-ips.txt are the IP addresses of the Grafana Cloud to be put in the Whitelist of the site in order to let the Grafana cloud to run the browser test on it?

I got this link from this page List of source IPs to add to your allowlist | Grafana Cloud documentation.

Thank you in advance!

Hi @paritwai,

Welcome to our community forums! :tada:

I’m sorry, but I suspect these IPs are only referring to Hosted Grafana instances, but they not apply to GCk6 load generators, which are the pieces responsible for running k6 and thus reaching your services in the end.

For GCk6 specifically, I can only point to:

I know these aren’t strictly equivalent to the aforementioned static list of IPs, but it’s all what I can say for now. I hope it helps.
