Panel containing chart is not refreshed after changing variable

I have used Apache echart for graphs in my Grafana dashboard.


Basically chart remains same after updating variable though new variable has no data.
I have attached before and after image for reference

1.Before updating variable where data is actually present

That wont work. You want to prevent error
In what scenario is it blank? How are you building that variable? Please share
