Monitor Elasticsearch in Grafana

I want to monitor Elasticsearch in Grafana, do I have to install Exporter on the server where Elasticsearch is installed and then do it with Prometheus or is there another solution?

Elastic Monitoring Dashboards

I am trying to use the below dashboards and get some metrics on my ElasticSearch Indexes & Cluster. I don’t get any data when I import these dashboards. All the metrics are empty, even If I have data in the elastic search. Thanks @yosiasz , I’m totally confused, I don’t know what to do to be able to monitor my elasticsearch single cluster and single node… should I install x-pack on my elasticsearch? Does Xpack create an index of metrics that I can add to Grafana as a data source and then display in Grafana?
Or should I install Exporter on ElasticSearch and then monitor it in Grafana using Prometheus?
Please help me, I really need help
