I am receiving a server side error

I’m trying to use an generic oAuth for an OpenID Connect SSO. I get the UI error of " Server side error - login.OAuthLogin(NewTransportWithCode)" and in the logs it displays

error msg=login.OAuthLogin(NewTransportWithCode) logger=context userId=0 orgId=0 uname= error="invalid character '<' looking for beginning of value"

That character ‘<’ does not exist in my config file, so I’m wondering what’s going on?

Also, reading from the topic said here… I also do not have a /userinfo end point (I have an introspect).

So, that may be the issue. But, can anyone tell me what that error message reagrding ‘<’ is referring to?

This is probably due it receiving an HTML file as a response when it is expecting JSON.

Which is the “Server side error :(” HTML that displays on the page, right?

So, is it my OpenID endpoint that’s the issue, or is it Grafana? Just not sure.

No, I would say it is the userinfo endpoint that is returning a 404 HTML page.

Ah, I believe it is because my OpenID may not have a /userinfo endpoint, but an /introspect. I think that increases my confidence level that that is the issue. I think I will switch over to trying to debug the LDAP issue.
