I would like to use the logs visualization in a dashboard because of some of its features. Especially the ability to display further information when selecting a line and de-duplication.
But for some reason I don’t seem to be able to remove the colored log level column. Even a “drop detected_level” in LogQL didn’t make it disappear. According to the popup information the parsed field “detected_level” was gone.
So how do I disable this column?
In addition I’m really missing the column selector that’s available in Explore. I can alternatively use line_format, but that is not as powerful in that it doesn’t allow me to automatically detect the width of a label or field.
