Hi,
Does anyone know how to set “No Basic Role” in Grafana OSS (versions 11.3 or 12.2.1)?
I’ve checked the docs here which suggest this is an option (the page is applicable to OSS).
In fact, the UI shows this tip:
“You can now select the ‘No Basic Role’ option….”
But, as in above screen, the option is not available to select (the “our documentation” link is the page I’ve linked above - and there it says this should be possible).
What I’m looking to do is just what the tip in the screen shot above describes: default to no access and add permissions per team as required. I don’t see an option to enable “advanced access control” either.
I think this might have something to do with this: Issue #88227 which seems to have been resolved by this: Disable role none option if advanced access control is not enabled. But I’m not sure if this can still be done somehow.
I don’t currently use SSO in this installation, so this is ‘local’ users, roles, teams, etc. only.
Any help would be much appreciated.
