How "Alert state if no data or all values are null" impacts evaluation count

Hello,

I am trying to set up an alert that gets evaluated every 5m for 30m - this results in a total of 7 evaluations before the alert is fired. If set the option “Alert state if no data or all values are null” to “OK” then how will this impact the number of evaluations or the evaluation period in general? Will this still increase the evaluation count or will it reset it to 0?

I assume that when this condition is hit the next evaluation will start from the beginning, but I may be wrong.

Thanks for the help.
