Grafana throws "Data source connected but no labels found" when trying to add Loki Datasource

  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?

Ans: We are using Grafana 8.5.24 version (Image: docker.io/grafana/grafana:8.5.24) in openshift. And willing to migrate to 9.5.1

  • What are you trying to achieve and How?

Ans: We using Loki operator in OpenShift. In Grafana version 8.5.24 we are able to add Loki data sources without any issue but when we migrate Grafana to any 9.* versions we are getting “Data source connected but no labels found” while trying to add Loki Datasource.

  • What did you expect to happen?

Ans: We expect Loki Data source should be added and should behave/works in same way in newer versions of Grafana as it works in 8.5.24 .

  • Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us exactly what they were.

Ans: When we migrate Grafana to any 9.* versions we are getting “Datasource connected but no labels found” white trying to add Loki data source in Grafana UI.

Please suggest on this or is there any documentation on the same?
