We are looking to set up Grafana as main monitoring and alerting in our Azure environment.
is it possible to create Grafana DR(disaster recover) solution ,so that we will not loss any data in case of disaster, looking for suggestions ,how can we proceed with the design setup/configuration.
what versions are you using ?
we will be using latest version
can you confirm problem with older version?
If I understand your question correctly, you are after a high available grafana instance in azure. What you need is stateless grafana connected to a external db systems like azure database for MySQL / azure database for postgres. So that you can manage your database backup separately ( or automated by azure ). My reference implementation is at https://github.com/yesoreyeram/grafana-azure
Is this what you are after ?
Or you can use VM based high availability solution as described in https://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/blog/deploying-grafana-for-production-deployments-on-azure/
correct same understanding
