Grafana Alert Notification Mute Not Working

I have configured mute notification policy with my Grafana alert notification but the alert is still triggering.

E.g:

  • Created mute timing for 9 AM - 10 AM UTC

  • Created a notification policy for an alert

  • Added above mute timing to the policy

Result: Alert is still triggering during the interval 9-10 AM UTC

I would say alert will be still triggering, but you shouldn’t get notification about it. It is notification mute, not alert mute.
