I was exploring the K6 framework and wondering it doesn’t support the multithreading. I mean in Gatling you can create Executor services and run a parallel service to each VUs. Can we achieve something like this in K6? we can workaround this by creating the xk6 extension. Also, how K6 sits between Goja and JS scripting.

I’m not sure if I fully understand what you’re trying to do. Do you mean distributed load tests?
If so, it’s true that k6 on its own offers some little utilities, like the execution segment option -which technically let you distributed the executing of a load tests across multiple k6 process-, and there’s projects like the k6 Operator -which makes running distributed load tests simpler thanks to k8s-, but there’s nothing like plug and play support built-in.
For easy to manage and run distributed tests, it’s usually better to take a look at the cloud offering.
