Formatting legend in grafana with prometheus source + adding sometext

reading the docs here on formatting the legend in grafana from prometheus source.

I want to have all inside the {} from prometheus to show with some text appended eg the name of the counter

so instead of speifying the parameters {{method}} - {{status}} I want to have all inside the curly brackets followed by some text {<all inside the curly brackets>} someText.
in this case the someText is the counter name.
For example leaving the legend bland will show all inside the curly brackets but then it won’t show the counter name, because I am using the rate in my query.
