I am writing default exporters for prometheus using Python. Before this I have been using custom exporters and custom dashboards from Grafana. There is one very useful feature that I have seen. The dropdown menus for various components being monitored.
Is there any documentation I can read on how this works and how I can enable this feature with my custom Prometheus agents and manually created dashboards ?
