We recently upgraded our Grafana from 8.1.1 to 8.3.4, and we are hoping to customize our Alerting Template for the alerts we send to Slack.
Current Setup:
- Our alerts are still using the default template
- In this default template, the set of values are listed as a string associated with Value:
- Within this string, it includes a set of key=value pairs within the ‘labels’ attribute
Our Goal:
- We would like to list some of the key=value pairs on their own line
- This makes it easier for us to quickly determine what hosts (i.e. servers) and values are being reported by the alert.
** This was “auto-magically” done for us in our previous version
Does anyone know if this is possible? And if it is, could you provide some guidance on how we can achieve it?
