Configuring MySQL container with a Grafana container

I am seeing empty graphs, but the DB in the MySQL container has data in it.
for some reason, the Grafana is not able to connect to it.

I’m seeing an error:

this authentication plugin is not supported

Which of the configurations of the Grafana is causing this?
