Configure SMTP in Grafana Docker

Hello,
I have the Grafana docker image running it with docker-compose. I would like to configure the SMTP server in the file /etc/grafana/grafana.ini. Has anyone done it? what options do i have
I have tried:

• I have accessed the image and wanted to modify it inside, but I do not have permissions.
• I have extracted the file to the host, then modify it and save it again, but I don’t have permissions to delete the initial one.

Then when I can modify the file, what instructions can I do to restart?

Hi, i’m running grafana in a docker container on my raspberry pi 3+ with the grafana/grafana-arm32v7-linux image. So far, so good. Now I want to use the alert system for sending an e-mail when there’s something wrong. For this setup I know i need to configure the SMTP in grafana. How can I do it? I think I have to edit the .ini file but I’m not sure how does that work in a docker container.
