I built CompareQueries, a Grafana datasource plugin for comparing time-shifted queries across datasources in one panel.
It helps with common dashboard and alerting workflows like:
- today vs yesterday
- this week vs last week
- before vs after release
- current metrics vs any custom time shift
It works with Prometheus, Loki, Elasticsearch, SQL, CSV, and other datasources through their native query editors.
The latest version 2.1.0 supports Grafana 11, 12, and 13+, including the Target Datasource comparison flow. It also supports Grafana Alerting for time-shifted and comparison execution.
