Grafana Alloy is Grafana Labs’ distribution of the OpenTelemetry Collector. It is an OTLP-compatible collector with built-in Prometheus optimizations that also supports signals across metrics, logs, traces, and profiles.

Is grafana alloy compatible with Grafana opensource , I am unable to send the metrics from other clusters via grafana alloy using grafana opensource tool. It works fine with grafana cloud but not with grafana opensource.
Grafana Alloy can send your data to whatever destination you define. If you can’t send data to a local Grafana stack I’d guess that there’s something not quite right in your config or in the path between Alloy and the local Grafana stack.
