Understanding the difference from PanelCtrl, MetricsPanelCtrl, QueryCtrl

I am new to Grafana plugins development. I wonder about the differences btw PanelCtrl, MetricsPanelCtrl, QueryPanel. Can any one help to give to insights or where I can find the documentations?
