  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
    I’m using Grafana server version 10.3.3

  • What are you trying to achieve?
    To build a Sonicwall Dashboard

  • How are you trying to achieve it?
    I am using snmp exporter to poll my sonicwall firewall. The generator had trouble with the loaded sonicwall mibs and couldn’t walk the OID’s so I had to use the OID Alias Names instead. They are;

    • sonicCurrentRAMUtil
      - sonicMaxConnCacheEntries
      - sonicCurrentConnCacheEntries
      - sonicCurrentCPUUtil
      - sonicNatTranslationCount
      - sonicCurrentManagementCPUUtil
      - sonicCurrentFwdAndInspectCPUUtil
      - snwlSysModel
      - snwlSysSerialNumber
      - snwlSysFirmwareVersion
      - snwlSysROMVersion
      - snwlSysAssetNumber

Could someone help me build a dashboard with these metrics?

Yes, I am in EST (Detroit). I will send you a message with some questions, next steps, etc. and once this whole thing is working, we can publish the solution to play.grafana.org, write a blog post, share here, etc.

This thread is exactly what I was looking for — thanks for starting it :+1:
I’m also running a SonicWall firewall and using SNMP Exporter + Grafana to collect similar metrics (CPU, RAM, connections, firmware info, etc.).

If a dashboard was created as part of this collaboration, would you be willing to share the Grafana dashboard JSON (or publish it on grafana.com / play.grafana.org)? It would be extremely helpful for others like myself trying to build a SonicWall-focused dashboard.

Happy to test it, provide feedback, or contribute improvements if helpful.
