Grafana Configuration

i have Grafana 7, installed and configured and it works correctly. Now I want to install Grafana 11 and use it instead of 7. When it comes to contact point I get always the same error msg despite i tried everything. in the grafana.ini i changed the values like this :
smtp:
enabled= true
host= localhost:25
skip_verify= true
from_address= admin@grafana.localhost
from_name= Grafana

when i want to send a test mail i get this error msg:

Failed to send test alert.: failed to send notification to email addresses: xxxx@xxxx.it: dial tcp [::1]:25: connect: connection refused

Well, can you show your SMTP server configuration? Which instance are you using btw, postfix?

I’m not sure of what you’re expecting… Grafana is not an SMTP server…
If you want to receive/forward mail you have to configure a full SMTP server.
