Show simple value from sql request at dashboard

Hello everybody, could you suggest any plugins for displaying simple value from sql request, for example i want to show result from sql query - “select top 1 value from table where id=1” on dashboard. i’ve try to do it with simple stat, my query is SELECT 0 as time,quantity as value FROM sales where item=‘Apple’, but i don’t like this solution.
