Migrate from CentOS 7 to RHEL 8.9

I am trying to migrate Grafana v10.1.5 (849c612fcb) from CentOS 7 server to RHEL 8.9.

Firstly, is that possible?

Secondly, are there any official instructions that I can follow?

I have installed Grafana v10.1.5 on the new server by following these steps:

  1. Install new instance of Grafana
  2. Install used plugin on new server
  3. Stop Grafana service on source and destination server
  4. Copy /var/lib/grafana/grafana.db from old to new server
  5. Check /etc/grafana/grafana.ini
  6. Restart Grafana
  7. Regular connection to the grafana url
  8. Dashboard, datasource, users, psw, team,… are the same

I cannot log in to the root_url as it will not accept the user name and password (default or the credenials from previous server.

Any assistance woukd be greatly appreciated.

If your issue is just about the credentials, I would say, just reset it…
