I’m having trouble querying historical data that I properly imported using promtail. As of today, I deployed the most recent iteration of the helm chart given by Loki.
In order to prevent out-of-order problems, I have a sample log with 1 million loglines in appropriate json that I sorted by timestamp. Using multi-tenancy, I was able to import them and found the tenant’s subdir in my s3 bucket on AWS. All is well thus far.
All of my queries either returned an error or no results at all. Occasionally, even HTTP 502
I tried using the appropriate tenant heading with grafana or logcli**.**
