Explore logs with InfluxDB - Metrics/Logs switcher not visible

Hi all,

I refer to the manual regarding InfluxDB and logs exploring: InfluxDB data source | Grafana documentation

In particular the section on " Querying and displaying log data from InfluxDB is available via Explore". It says:

Select the InfluxDB data source, change to Logs using the Metrics/Logs switcher, and then use the Measurements/Fields button to display your logs.

Well, I cannot seem to find this switcher… see screenshot.

Any idea what is going on here?

I am using Grafana 7.1 and InfluxDBv2. So I am not using the beta plugin for the datasource - 7.1 supports InfluxDBv2 datasources.
