Creating Prometheus datasource with exemplars

Hi, I am trying to configure the prometheus datasource with exemplar support.
I am able to configure with below configuration:

    datasources:
      - name: Dev-Prometheus
        type: prometheus
        access: proxy
        orgId: 1
        uid: dev_prometheus
        url: http://prometheus.dev:9090
        editable: false

May I know how to map an exemplar in the metric to Tempo?
I am getting the exemplar of below format:

request_duration_histogram_bucket{path="/error",method="GET",status="404",le="0.002"} 1.0 # {span_id="81593ed0d19be400",trace_id="0a56f3d98422784c47200d86f0da101d"} 0.0015 1627284914.577
