Combine two values from a time series to produce a graph of the sum

  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using? 10.3.1

  • What are you trying to achieve? A single line graph which represents the sum of the same field from two time series.

  • How are you trying to achieve it? Trying to use a transform.

  • What happened? The exact transform for this function does not seem to exist. I can produce a binary sum of two values but not a time series.

  • What did you expect to happen? A time plot of the sum of two fields.

  • Can you copy/paste the configuration(s) that you are having problems with? No.

  • Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us exactly what they were. At my first attempt UI got an error 500 from the database.

Please try the concatenate transform before your sum?
