If I share a dashboard with someone, it’s [name].grafana.net. Is it possible to change [name] to something of my choosing?

@justinpruitt Yes, it is possible to change the subdomain of your Grafana Cloud instance URL. Here are the instructions to change the subdomain:

  1. Go to the Grafana Cloud portal by going to grafana.com and log in.
  2. On the Grafana tile, click “Details”.
  3. Click “Update Instance”.
  4. In the “Instance name” and “Instance URL” fields, enter your desired subdomain name.
  5. Click “Update” to save the changes.

Please note that changing the subdomain will affect the URL of your Grafana Cloud instance. Make sure to inform your users and update any references or bookmarks accordingly.
