How are you trying to achieve it?
clone the code of grafana GitHub - grafana/grafana: The open and composable observability and data visualization platform. Visualize metrics, logs, and traces from multiple sources like Prometheus, Loki, Elasticsearch, InfluxDB, Postgres and many more.
and try build it using inside Dockerfile
the official Dockerfile is alpine based, not fit in redhat 8.
What did you expect to happen?
- available redhat 8 fit grafana source code with Dockerfile(v9.4.7) – I find some in openshift but it falls behind for 4 versions. Tags · openshift/grafana · GitHub
- available redhat 8 fit grafana((v9.4+) docker image to pull
- Did you follow any online instructions? If so, what is the URL?
Spend one day, no good.
I’m worried about grafana would not be supported in redhat 8 as centos would stop going forward. Companies would use redhat 8 instead. In my case, I have to install using rpm way, skipping docker/kuber.
