I basically have [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/grafana/comments/17jvlkc/loki_remote_write/) exact question:

My local prometheus can “remote write” to Grafana cloud, is there an equivalent for my local Loki?

It looks like Alloy’s [loki.write](https://grafana.com/docs/alloy/latest/reference/components/loki/loki.write/#send-log-entries-to-a-managed-service) should be able to send to the grafana cloud but I have no idea how to make Alloy read from my local Loki. Or maybe my local Loki needs to somehow push to alloy(loki.source.api/)?

You will configure log pipeline with 2 exporters: one [loki exporter](https://github.com/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-collector-contrib/tree/main/exporter/lokiexporter) for your Loki and second (maybe [syslog exporter](https://github.com/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-collector-contrib/tree/main/exporter/syslogexporter)) for that 3rd party destination URL

Is there any way to have Loki do it and be the buffer in case of disconnects between local Loki and cloud?

I think I would rather do it on the client side than putting something else in between loki and the client.
