Why is the time interval 12 hours?

My first time filling in a time interval

  1. 2024-04-01 00:00:00 to 2024-04-01 23:59:59

I clicked the “Back” button on the time component of the panel three times, and the times were:
2. 2024-03-31 12:00:00 to 2024-04-01 11:59:59
3. 2024-03-31 00:00:01 t0 2024-04-01 00:00:00
3. 2024-03-30 12:00:00 t0 2024-03-31 12:00:00

02
03
04

Their time difference is 12 hours, which confuses me. Why is it 12 hours?
What should I do if I want to set it to 1 day or 1 month?

you can do

now-6h last 6 hours etc based on picker or whatever you type that matches the standards

From github discussion:

I can see the reasoning for this as it allows a piece of the “previous” slice to be viewed along the new “slice”, I can see how some would find this useful while others would rather have it skip the full range. So I would guess this was a deliberate choice.

Sorry, I still haven’t figured out how it works。
Does the official document explain this?

If you select 24 hours, clicking on the navigation buttons will move chosen period by 12 hours. If you select 48 hours, then by 24 hours etc.
I.e. movement by half of the chosen period.

What I mean is, it’s a simple ‘timepicker’
Can this approach achieve it?
